On Tuesday April 4th, I had the pleasure to visit the University of Bath and meet with Prof. Patrick Keogh. After a short tour of the campus (see below), I had the pleasure to discover the different laboratories of the department of Mechanical Engineering (bio-mechanics, wind/water tunnels, automotive, etc). I was also very happy to learn a bit more about active magnetic bearings and discover the different ‘rotor rigs’ that Patrick and his research group have developed over the years.
