Visit at the Institute for Nonlinear Mechanics (University of Stuttgart)

Today, I presented my research at the Institute for Nonlinear Mechanics (INM) at the University of Stuttgart. I had very interesting discussions with Prof. Remco Leine who runs the institute. We talked about drill-string dynamics and the role played by friction/contact on the dynamics of mechanical systems. I also had the opportunity to discuss with Simon Peter who is currently working on Phase-locked loops — a method that is very similar to CBC when it comes to the experimental identification of NNMs.
